On march 18 2008, barack made this speech and no one speech to me was ever this important because americans neglect this topic because some dont see it as a big issue. Many people will agree with Barack and many people wont, but i can say i agree with im a 100% some of the issues he brought up were right on key to what is going on in our world today. He wants us to form " a more perfect union" and he he said in his speech not one person could do so we all need to do it together.
He talked about his life and some of the things he went through as a child that had to do with racism, which led him to talk about his reverend and some of the many things he would talk about in church. He looks to his reverend as a guide in which many people dont appreciate but he doeeven though he didnt agree with many of the things his pastor had said it was motivating, his reverend led him to become a christian and show a christian attitude. And he was so open to talk about his view on race which helped Barack with this speech because Barack who suffered from racial comments and prejudice, even from his own grandmother who once said she was scared of a black man which made him cringe. But he wouldnt disown her at all, he believes that people just neeed to be more aware of what race does in the country.
